WaterStays is an Airbnb that has been designed to float on the water. It is made of 2 containers, separated by a jeti in between, 1 above the water, and 1 below. The containers are drilled to the jeti, and is held in place by pillars connected to the ocean or river floor. Both containers are measured outto be 3m x 3m x 6m. As my business is an Airbnb, it does not sell a product, but instead allows people to live in the space for a certain amount of time. The target market of my design is people within the range of 20-40, as somewhere to get away or to have a mini holiday. In my design there is a number of attributes across the build, each made to suit that of an Airbnb. The house has been designed for use by a couple, as room for a child is not designed with the space. This is because of the restrictions of space made by the staircase. My design is something that is unique to the world atthe current time. It is eco-friendly as it uses piping to send fresh water to and waste from the house. As well as wires that allow the building to have electricity.
